\J\F1All of the FIX fonts have the complete SAIL Character Set and are
generally modelled after our line printer characters.  Their fixed
width facilitates the layout of tabular information.\.

\J\F1Fixed fonts of size 25 and larger have the following hidden characters:\.
  '0 ⊃ \'0;  '11 ⊃ \'11;  '12 ⊃ \'12;  '13 ⊃ \'13;  '14 ⊃ \'14;  '15 ⊃ \'15;  '175 ⊃ \'175;  '177 ⊃ \'177;
For some strange reason, FIX40 doesn't have the center dot (code 0).

\F1FIX13:\j\F2HEIGHT=14, TOP=11, WIDTH=9.\.
\jThis is the smallest and lightest fixed font available.
As you can see, it is rather illegible.\.

\F1FIX13X:\j\F3HEIGHT=14, TOP=11, WIDTH=10.\.
\jThis was derived from FIX13 by "fattening" the characters.  Reports
printed in this font are likely to draw a small readership.\.

\F1FIX20:\j\F4Height=21, Top=15, Width=12.\.
\jThe FIX20 font is fairly readable, though still rather small.\.


\F1FIX25:\j\F0Height=25, Top=20, Width=16.\.
\jThis is the closest thing to a "standard" font that we have.  It is the
default font if you don't specify one.\.

\F1FIX25X:\j\F8Height=25, Top=20, Width=17.\.
\jA somewhat blacker and wider version of FIX25.\.

\F1LPT:\j\F5Height=25, Top=20, Width=18.\.
\jThis is FIX25 widened to match the line printer characters almost exactly.\.


\F1FIX30:\j\F6Height=30, Top=25, Width=19.\.
\jA still larger member of the family.\.

\F1FIX40:\j\F7Height=40, Top=33, Width=25.\.
\jThis one is for writing BIG.\.
